Mark Horne has served as Executive Vice President of Horne Lodging Properties since 2003. Horne Lodging Properties is a Utah-based company primarily focused on operating and developing hotels. The company also develops and manages other investments and holdings including residential real estate (both multi-family and single-family), office buildings, golf courses, and a broad range of other investments. Horne’s goal is to lead each property it manages to be the leader in respective markets. This is accomplished by maintaining high standards of quality providing excellent customer service, and building exceptional management teams. The company has been in existence for over 30 years and the executive team has well over 100 years combined experience in the hospitality industry. Horne Lodging Properties currently manages over $10 million in annual revenues and has approximately 200 employees. In addition to managing Home2 Suites Anchorage, current properties under management include Plaza Hotel at Temple Square (Salt Lake City, UT), Best Western Landmark Inn (Park City, UT) Best Western Timpanogos Inn (Lehi, UT), Ramada Hotel (Albuquerque, NM) and Talons Cove Golf Course (Saratoga Springs, UT).

Prior to joining Horne’s Lodging Properties, Mark spent four years with KPMG in their Salt Lake City, Utah office. During his time at KPMG, Mark was a practicing CPA in the tax division primarily focused on corporate and business tax. Mark is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelors and master’s degree in Accounting.
